Embossing on business cards

Anyone do it?

Can anyone recommend me someone?

How much more costly is it?

Are there massive limitations?

I've got some embossed cards.
as a rule of thumb a die will have to be made and for Business cards think about another £400 on top of the print price. It's expensive and the design has got be worth it!

I've been working on an ambigram for it, he was so excited at the thought of embossing. I think a black card with spot gloss might be a cool way of going about this instead.

you could use the spot gloss to make the illusion of a bevels reflective side :)

I've suggested spot gloss, so we will see.

Thanks for the link to that site Nik, it could win awards for dubious design decisions!

The cost of an embossing die is £35. The extra cost for embossing is nowhere near £400 - unless
it's a very large amount.

Kind regards - David

You can get embossing stamps I think. I came across an old one the other day, not too sure on their pricing though. Plus you'll have to do each one individually!
