Anyone else having trouble with their system after updating to Mac OS El Capitan? I skipped Yosemite after reading about issues that plagued many users, but El Capitan seemed to have glowing reviews about how it solved these issues and sped up systems (especially older ones) so I took the gamble.
Now I'm struggling to get any work done as InDesign and Illustrator are both crashing constantly on my Mid 2010 iMac. Just selecting an element can cause the programme to simply disappear. No crash report, no error message, it's like the process has just been killed and I have to restart the application and hope I saved recently. Sometimes I boot into Windows and bluetooth functionality has ceased there, causing me to have to use corded peripherals.
On my MBP, InDesign won't even start up making that machine practically useless as a working machine now.
I know my main machine is probably due an upgrade, but now I'm kicking myself for not sticking to my own "if it ain't broke" rule.
