What is your definition of 'good design'?
clean, well structured, excellent graphics, colour co-ordinated, user friendly, well written / concise
think that sums up the basic definition in my eyes. may have left 1 or 2 out
Looks good, works well, fits the bill. That is all.
Does it look sexy and answer the brief? If so then that's pretty good.
It looks as good as it works and vice versa. At the same time those 'looks' have a soul and personality. It is meaningful and speaks to you with only appropriate text needed to further enforce it's message. It is not designed subjectively but very much purposefully, so that the same message is delivered to everyone, clearly and precise, whilst also being understood in the same way. Good design is visual communication, spoken in great clarity.
Separate names with a comma.
