Just looking for some recommendation for good design books, as there are loads to choose from, ideally ones relating to web design, graphic design, logo design and typography.

They wont tell you have to make a nice logo or nice type combinations but they do get you thinking in a creatieve way.

When Hi-Res first started out they used to put up book recommendations, don't think they still do that but their site is always good for some inspiration.

I have a book by Alan Fletcher called 'The Art of thinking Sideways'. It doesn't reference design in great details - it's just a massive reference book of creativity you can dip into every now and again.
I've also seen a film called 'Beautiful Losers' which is very inspiring. It's speaks to some amazing artists from LA and the surrounding area about their process and hand-made ethics.

Just remembered a book called 'It's not how good you are, it's about how good you want to be'
Bit of a mouthful, and a little self help - but good nonetheless - Think Paul Rand wrote it...

They used to rave about that book at Uni Alan Fletcher, could never get my hands on it as was always loaned out, will buy and see what all the fuss is about.
I have just purchased how good you want to be from Amazon, £2.50 with postage included.
