Ok before I start, I'm not racist or have any issues but today was pushed over edge!

Was trying to place an order, and the Indian call center had the cheek to tell me to speak proper english! WTF! I could barley understand them, I flipped and was like, excuse me! He said you do not not speak proper english, in one of the strongest indian accents i have heard!

I am fuming! Am so glad other companies i deal with are bringing there call centers back to uk!

Rant over!

Oh I think we've all felt some level of rage speaking to India's finest. I remember calling Virgin Customer Care just after Jacko died... so he was all over the "on hold" music. I was spoken to rudely and even disconnected several times and this went on and on for a week! I understand it's not a fun job for them but come on. Tho there was one bloke who was brilliant, and every time he went to do something he'd say "Ok here we go" and reminded me of an indian Roy Walker! He sorted the problem in no time too.

It's the norfolk accent mate, I was called posh up north even though I'm very much working class, now admittedly we do have queen stay within 15 mins of us but we don't really socialise that much :D.

It's not our fault that we speak properly and the rest of the UK (and India) can't

I got a call from vodafone the other day via india, took him 15 minutes to actually bother listening to a word I said. "I'm not with vodafone anymore." "Sir I am trying to offer you free...with your vodafone account" repeat till I shout.

I hate that I am being punished for not changing my number!

Very true indeed! I for one can speak perfectly, but sadly some from the same area can not!

Here's a good mockery of "outsourced tech support", brought to you by Foamy the Squirrel, he likes to rant.
