critique needed on product label

Hi everyone,

I'm currently designing a product label for a new reduced sodium salt product. The client is happy with it but I can't help but feel some things can be improved. The character illustration is from another illustrator which I'm not too keen on as it doesn't really represent the product, but the client wants it so can't do much in that area. Anyway let me know what you all think and how it can be improved.

I think the front may remind a lot of people of the 80's ;) It's quite hard to visualise as it stands, will it be a packet like the one below?

Why no . after Dr on main title but Dr. in rear?

The character looks like a tooth is he ment to.

Other than that it's fine.

ye the dot has been corrected, it was mainly because the main logo was to be square and aligned at all sides, so with a dot it wouldn't do that, but they decided in the end the dot was needed so it now has one.
