I have indeed seen Lost Type. It's a great website. Pretty much graphic designer and type lovers heaven. Lovely retro fonts and vintage type. Great stuff!

Other good sites are http://fontfabric.com/ and http://www.fontsquirrel.com/ both offer great free fonts that are really useful to designers.

I went to a design conference in London and Alan Herron said you only really need 10 typefaces when designing. Would be a nice thread people sharing their typefaces and reasons for using them.
