Creating outline of logo (Help!)

I am working on a logo what is consist of waves like topography. I've sketched it but at the part of creating outline and proportion, i couldn't pass this step. Could you give me advice how can i set proportion and create outline of this piece.

The third image along is looking ok, you just need to get a bit more accurate with the pen tool, if that's what you're using.

Hi! All these images are task, is not close to finish. My question is about creating clean, proportioned outline. The logo is not basic so i got harder about base shapes.

All I can say is practise with the pen tool.
