CorelDraw Suite: Student vs. Full Versions

I've been using an academic / student version of CorelDraw 7 for 20 years now for everything from DVD labels to advertising fliers, but it's now woefully outdated and I would really like to get something more recent. Trouble is, I can only afford an academic version, and I've read that the more recent versions of CorelDraw (the Suite X series) do not have print preview in the academic versions. Does anyone know if this the case with Suite X3? I have a chance to get a copy of it but the seller doesn't know if it is the academic version (it doesn't seem to be specified on the packaing). Print preview is quite important and I would really prefer to have it.
Thanks for any advice.

If you're using it for work and not in education you can't have the academic version to the best of my knowledge

At the time I got CDR7, I was enrolled in a (correspondence-based) tech course, so I did qualify.
I see lots of academic versions for sale on places like eBay, apparently without any such buyer restrictions.
