Copyright?

A client has seen a card invite online for a famous brand and wants the same for her birthday invitations. It's a paper engineered design which has been done before. She wants the same colour card used but obviously the wording for the invite will be different. I'm just concerned about copyright?

I wouldn't ... its for private use. It won't be in the public domain.

You're right to worry about copyright though.it's very important.

If this was used for a commercial sense then you would be worried.

I would be concerned. Open question - Are you using someone elses property for the commercial gain of your business?

I'd be ok with it, it's not like it's B2B. If you're worried, just change it slightly so it has some of your input too.
