Company Logo Feedback

I prefer the name Cube. I also prefer the Cube image, but I like the thing you had going on with the 3 in the name too.

Yeah I've been trying to integrate it in the cube logo and I think this is it! Tell me what you think mate:

To be honest, that looks a million times better than some of the other attempts you've had. It's actually getting there in my opinion (I'm sure others will disagree).

Could you try a few different versions of it? Like, substitute the solid face for the 3 on each sides and then see which one looks the best? You can only tell by contrasting and comparing.

For the strapline you could try 'Graphic Design Solutions' or 'Print Design Solutions'? As it seems you're dealing mostly in print.

From your latest post your business seems to have no name. Whatever name you decide on needs to be prominent in the design.

As tony has said, I would work on the cube style you had going, but look at new fonts, styles etc.

Also your strapline suggests all you do is stationery design. What if someone wants a poster, brochure, pressad. If you intend to specialise in just branding then so be it, but I would cover all the bases.

I can see in my head a cu3e with the 3 with a baseline shift and smaller whilst still making it look like a b.

Creating a logo for your own company is hard but you have some good ideas that just need bringing together.

I already designed that type of logo in previous designs, but I didn't like it in the end. Here is my updated logo of the previous post. No colour or effects, just the layout (flat) with strapline in upper and lower case:

There is still no name to your business. How will people recommend you when they don't know what your business is called. You will find it hard just to be recognised as a symbol, unless you are as big as nike

In my opinion the '3' only works if you were to use it as it would appear in a mathmatical sense.

I had this discussion with someone else on here not long ago. No-one on this forum is big enough to be known by logo alone. You have to be MASSIVE for that to be the case. I think the name of the business should replace the strap line. The description can be used in other ways but my opinion is getting yourself know first and foremost. If the description is needed to describe the business then include it, at least for the time being, until the business is established. When your business is bringing in clients and your reputation is growing, if you feel comfortable, drop the descriptive logotype.

Hmmmm good advice. Sounds a sensible thing to do. So something like this or change the font, colour, layout?

Better. Have you considered just using 'Design'? That way, if thats the font you want to go with it will give it more legibility. Just a thought.

Hmmm true. I've looked at some other fonts. Do you think any of these are better?

Top left and middle right get my votes. I think you should steer clear of the display fonts at the bottom.

Ok I chose a new font from the list I posted previously. Tell what you think guys:

Or this design. Again just about layout, font and font size (getting the basics right lol)!

Getting there now!

I like top left out of the fonts.

I would raise the '3' slightly above the baseline as it would be in a mathematical sense. Personally prefer the caps version.

Also, as Ian mentioned, could you not replace Graphic Design Solutions with Design. Maybe a nice spaced out simple font > D E S I G N. This would ensure your strap is visible when the logo is used small.

Solutions is 'old hat' (apparently)

I prefer top right font - some of the others remind me of number plates...

I will do variations of the fonts suggested and then post them back on here lol!

When you say raise the '3' slightly above the baseline, which image do you mean below:
