clients

I second that.. I go out and talk to businesses face to face, on the phone and by email every day to try to get business :)

yep and there's plenty of people looking to start up a business in this day and age so they are good targets, start small. Also to get noticed its not a bad idea to contact charities and do some free work (that should be the only free work you do mind you and don't let yourself get pushed around). Also just had a check of your website and for a person that has websites in their portfolio, it doesn't look like you're a website designer at first glance, take some time on giving your site a professional feel and thats a good place to start.

I'd be happy to design you a beautiful website, True Graphics, if you're looking for one?

Yeah, but then you would have to do all True Graphics' client work :D

Sorry True Graphics, but I can't ignore that fact that your site is unprofessional. It would be dishonest to you if I did. Basically, you have to become a designer first. Then you can start looking for clients.
