For anyone that is into football manager games, Eidos have followed the 'Radiohead style' of offering up their product for whatever you would like to pay.

Apparently it's to try and get as many people involved in the online game.

Maybe they've had previous game releases spreading around torrent sites? or maybe it's just to try and get as many people paying the additional £5 subscription for the online gaming/updates element?

its a great way to get people playing the game regardless! I have never played a football manager game (what with me not liking football) but I might give this a go for a penny!

This is far too tempting. I used to be a bit of a champ man addict. It steals so much time away from you.
I must resist! I haven't got the time for it, my business will go to pot if I do.

I had the same problem back in the day! Ever since I've been able to resist buying another game, and now they do this, must just be a tactic to draw all the recovered addicts back to the game!!

Doesn't look like they are doing a mac version so I'm safe this time!

That's why I should be working on a Mac!
That could be the final word on the PC Vs. Mac debate :D

Don't do it Krey! It will ruin your life.

Now, I must get back into my FM save (the best management sim :p) where Southend must go up. They just must.

    GCSEs took a beating
    A-Levels took a bashing
    Degree took a hammering
    Girlfirends took a swipe
    Life was dented
The ability to watch a real game of football without thinking "i bet Tonton Zola Mokuko would have scored that..."

    I'm still on FM 2007.

I'm just disappointed I've got to go and watch the Ashes, then Southend vs. Millwall so I wont be able to play today :(

    Hard life.

I went with Football Manager when the companies split but am trying to buy this.

I have filled in the payment form twice now and clicked 'pay now' and it just loads the payment form again incomplete. Not happy.

Only offering £2.51 so could be that.

I wouldn't advise it Tony, not good reviews from what I've seen.

    £2.51 why not?

It is not even the price of an extra value meal lol.
