don't go knocking pokemon, like yu gi oh, beyblade, zoids (I remember that too) and a few others they're originally anime and then just dubbed in english, often with the 'adult' elements removed for younger audiences.

Japanese YuGiOh is considerably darker than what you see on british television.

  14. Dogtanian and the 3 Muskahounds
    Lost Cities of Gold

    :D Yeah all that 80's goodness :D

oooh another anime person (otaku maybe), typically it has to be tim, so no doubt we'll end up arguing over something if it comes up in conversation :p

  18. as long as its not arguing over what pokemon is best :p

I used to be an Otaku too :p but it wasnt for Pokemon etc :) I watched ones like Martian Successor Nadesco, Evangellion, Escaflowne, Maho Tsukai Tai etc etc :D

oh come on we all know its the cat from team rocket :p

I still haven't watched nge (should get round to it eventually) but I didn't think much of the other two.

I've watched a fair bit so it's more a case of my fav's and things like eureka seven, rozen maidens, gurren lagaan, claymore, fate stay night and bubblegum crisis are probably more my sort of thing although I seem to go more for the overall story these days, but I do seem to enjoy mecha ones (gundam 00 for example) :)

It's damned expensive though keeping up with anime as they're not cheap :(.

    I wasn't having a go at Pokemon/anime!
Just first cartoon that popped into my head from the 90's and a guess at what Tim may have grown up with
