[Book] The Business Side of Creativity

If you've read my introduction, you'll know that I'm currently a freelancer who receives most of my work from online clients. But over the past 3 months, I've been planning to launch a 'professional' company in my home town.

For those of you who are new to the design industry, or want to leave your employer to go it alone, I'd highly recommend reading 'The Business Side of Creativity' by Cameron S. Foote as it covers everything from choosing a company name, insurance, running your business from home or an office, marketing and more.

As the book has helped me an awful lot, and stopped me from making big mistakes, I figured it'd be good to share it with the community. :)

There's also 'Designer's Pricing & Ethical Guidelines'. A US publication but entirely relevant.
