Best font color for this background?

Hi!

I am designing a website and the majority of the text is going to be written on a background with the color #002f2f which is dark green.

What I want to ask is what color you would recommend for the font on the website. I've tried a load of different nuances, but either it's too bright or too hard to read!

Any recommendations?

Light text on dark backgrounds isn't recommended for extended texts on the webs, but if you're going to do it I'd say the best option (without knowing too much about your design) is to use a bold face in white or off-white.
