Australian Web Hosting | Dedicated server hosting and VPS hosting from web host company would be worth looking into in my opinion, UKhost4u just announced their aussie version a short while ago.
I'm currently using UKHost4u (theres a theme there I'm guessing
) on the recommendation of Jaz. The british ones are pretty good, the support is faster than any other host I've used (and I've been on first name terms with the owners on at least 2 of them), although they did have a technical hiccup a while ago but it was sorted quickly.
The site seems to load faster than my older hosts too.
