    Hi Guys,

I'm creating an animation for a client in after effects, the whole thing is working very well and looks ace, client loves it and we cant wait to finish it. One problem though is that I need to change some of the elements within the composition, the elements have been imported from illustrator as compositions with layers. Is it possible to edit the AI file and update the AE comp? I dont want to have to bring them in again and redo all the animation settings.

    Hope this makes sense.

If you edit the .ai files they should update in after effects if you have linked the programs through the adobe bridge software.

I dont think so, I'm affraid you may have to run the import process again.
