    Hi all

I don't have much experience with typography and I'd really appreciate some advice regarding the best set of fonts to use for a website. It will be a site to showcase some of my design work.

I know it's subjective, but any opinions would give me a starting point

    Many thanks

Unless you want to have to add some complex coding. You want to use fonts that are built in/come as standard on 99% of machines.
Unless obviously its images, then they're saved as PNG/JPG whatever so it won't matter.

I basically comes down to 2 choices.

    Serif or sans serif

Personally I prefer sans serif fonts when reading blocks of text as I find it easier on the eye and looks much more up to date.
