Couldn't be bothered to go looking for the old film threads and they haven't popped up for ages so thought i'd start off another one.

Anyone looking forward to any films that are out early this year?

Anyone see any of the Christmas time released films?

Saw Sherlock Holmes which was good and Avatar which is absolutely AMAZING. Anyone seen it?

I went into Avatar (3d) very sceptical as I thought it would be all hype, but the effects are incredible.

I would really urge everyone to see it in 3d, even if the story doesnt appeal just to see what the future of cinema looks like. Not gimicy arrows coming out of the screen, but subtle and effective 3d imagery.

I think Legion looks interesting too, though only to see Paul Bettany as an action hero angel

Yes definitely go and see it in 3D. But don't sit in the fourth row and don't sit on the left hand side. sit in the middle!!

I'm going again because of this mistake. grrrrrrrrr

I've just secured and booked "Iron Man' for public appearance on Bank Holiday May 3rd to tie in with Iron Man 2. The Film launches on Fri April 30th. This guy does will be doing the London Premiers etc. I've got him exclusively in Newcastle. Going to be awesome to see him

Quality!! Should have got him for a DF event/conference at the same time, not sure how it ties in, but cool all the same! Is he expensive to hire?!

You thinking of hiring him too Greg? You could just take him down the pub, or bowling :D

The advertising for the Avatar launch week was pretty cool on the Cromwell Rd going into London
