Village Green Cider - Bottle Label and logo

Hello everyone,

Timescale - I am in no rush, and can fit around you
Company name - Village Green Cider.

I am looking for a logo and a bottle label for a new cider producer. A cider with a difference, a cider made from excess apple and pears from local fruit trees and a cider crafted by the community. In fact half the profits from the business are donated to community projects.

So the main aspects of the logo are crafting local, community and quality produce - maybe apple (tree) could be something to work with but not really sure...

The label will be used on 500ml bottles and maybe in the future a 330ml and 1 litre bottles. The logo will be used on website, printed media and business cards.

Please provide a quote, and if you have a portfolio that may be good.

I have found a label printers, who can offer custom shapes, however I am open to offers here too. The first batch will be 1000 labels.

Hi guys

Thanks everyone for all the messages and quotes. I must say the response was far more than expected, my inbox actually became full, due to the quantity of sample work, which is great!

I have had 15 quotes overall between £50 and £275, with a wide range of past experiences. I must say it is hard choosing between them, with some really great portfolios.


I think what I am going to do is make sure the business concept is fully viable (I am waiting to hear some information back from food standards agency and a brewer) and once I have found out it is I am going to decide on someone a bit out of my budget range but I really think this logo is going to make or break the cider, so it will be important.

I will be in touch with the person who I have decided to craft my logo, in a couple of weeks and I will post the final bottle on the site as soon as it is done.

Thanks everyone for getting in touch and sorry it is going to take a bit longer to get the project rolling than I first imagined. I was planning on just making any old logo so I could get a website and a business card, but i have decided against this now, and I will wait till the business is almost at launch and then I will go all out on a really nice logo.
