    What else can I do

Hi, trying to get up to date with the latest SEO, you know how every now and then you realise you need to catch up.

I already do the following as standard on my websites

    1. Meta Tags
    2. SEO friendly URLS
    3. Alt Tags
    4. Facebook, Twitter etc.
    5. Site map (and XML)
    6. header (H1) tags
    7. Links page

Is there anything else that could help or any really good resource I could use?

    thanks

More inbound links with keyword rich anchor text. I''d change the address in your signature to have a search-term or phrase as the anchor text rather than your slug.

Keep your content fresh and up to date, try adding a news section to your home page, it did the trick for me

First of all build a site that seems easy to users. Followed by a good internal linking structure, easy navigation, incoming links from authoritative sources (sources from different niches). Make sure you have a fair promotion of backlinks for all the internal pages of a website than focusing only on the index/main page.

I would recommend a good plan. This would involve adding new pages frequently with at least 250 words, preferably 400 words - well written articles. A blog, I've found, is the best way to facilitate this.
