Does anyone know of a comprehensive SEO guide? Basically a group of articles that take you through the core bits you should know. Any guide that goes further than that is a welcome bonus.
For example, something like this one on Typography: The Elements of Typographic Style Applied to the Web - a practical guide to web typography Cheers |

Not a guide, but this free program Web CEO: Download the Free Edition of Web CEO is very good and it will cover most aspects of what you need to do.

dunno why my post was deleted.
fred asked about this on another forum and that forum supplied him with answers... just trying to give everyone else a heads up. being as that's been chucked out, the other link was: Search Engine Optimization - Search Engine Guide Blog im pretty disgusted tho that a link was taken out. boss hog that's putting protecting your website in front of helping the people that come to you! pretty selfish imo. What you tend to find is lots of articles from different people all over the place, if you can peice together the useful ones then you'll eventually get there (as I did a long time ago).
However I am in the process of writing an SEO guide myself, hopefully it will be ready within a couple of months. |
