    White Border when Printing?

    Hi everyone,

Not very good with photoshop but following a guide on how to design a leaflet

I have a crappy Epson SX125 but when I go to print, it seems to have a white border. Tried pasting it into Word but still the same! Any advice? THanks in advance

Sounds like your printer doesn't have borderless printing... You might want to check this under the printer settings but I'd imagine that's what your problem is.

If you have an A4 printer and you're printing onto A4 paper, there'll always be a white border (approx 7mm) on the edge of your document. The only way to overcome this is to make your artwork slightly smaller (so the crop marks actually get printed out) or get a printer that prints edge to edge.

Some A4 Epson printers will print borderless. My DX series does but only from illustrator for some reason.

My advise would be: Don't print out your leaflets on a "crappy Epson SX125"

Haha! Seriously, if you want to look professional, the quality of the print is just as important as the quality of design. Go to your local copy-shop and have them digitally printed, shouldn't be too expensive.
