Over the years it has made £££££'s selling prints on canvas, posters, scrim banners, pop-up displays, light box posters, exhibition point of sale items. It has had medium usage over the years and has printed trouble free. All heads are printing fine it has been kept in great condition with all the original manuals, disks, maintenance kits. This printer has an interal ps rip which means you do not have to have a seperate rip to run this printer. It also has an interal hard drive. It can print direct from your computer. It currently prints directly from the G5 using Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign etc which is to be supplied with the printer.
The HP5500 also has the advantage of an automatic takeup spool for those long pop-up banners.
This printer can print with either dye or uv inks. This upgrade usually costs £1500 alone to add the extra set of heads to either print with uv or dye inks which is included with the package
The printer is currently setup to print with uv inks but can be changed to run with dye inks with the seperate dye heads which can be seen in the above pictures. There is also x6 cartridges of dye inks which have never been used. The printer currently has medium to low levels of inks in the printer as seen in the pics but we also have x5 full pots of uv inks in consumables with the printer.
This really is a great startup package for a company or individual wanting to get into printing exhibition graphics, posters or canvas prints.

Hi,

Please can you elaborate on the "add on extra set of heads". Are you meaning the replacement head carriage/ink tubes conversion kit? If so, can you advise if you have a set of unused heads, or a set that have been used and stored.

Hi Craig,
Yeah is conversion kit, I do have set of dye printheads that were used and have been stored, I have a big box full of bits and pieces (manuals-cds-maintenance kit etc). If you want I can send you pictures of everything via email if this helps.
