    Pre-Printing definition

Hi Guys, Hope you can help here...While filling in an art worker job application i came across a question on pre-print experience, is this referring to the entire designing process before printing? it seems like a very ambiguous question!?!
    Many thanks

I imagine what they are referring to is pre-press ie. preparing artwork to go to print which would involve setting trap/overprint, bleeds, making sure fonts are included and so on.

Prepress is where the plates are made to go on to press. Like the guy aboe said, you need an understanding of bleed, trapping, screen angles, spot colours etc etc
