[James Coleman Design]

I recently purchased an SLR camera and wanted to know if this is ideal for printing illustrations/design work as well as photos.

Don't think a camera will be able to print stuff out! or illustrate! Me thinks a printer and a pencil are the tools needed… good choice of camera though, just leave it for taking photos!!!!

Sorry bud – couldn't resist!
Think from the knowledge I have of that printer it should do a good job. It's all going to depend upon the intital image quality and the paper you choose to print on. We get massive differences (especially in colour reproduction) if we use the specific manufacturers paper against a third party paper.
