Default there must be something in this then!

Given so many negative responses there must be genuine issues with PCarrier then. I shall count myself lucky then. Going overseas though, as someone said, is not intrinsically a dangerous move...books are printed in Far east and China/S'apore etc as quality is better/price is better and timings are better.

Tonya,

You must have dealt with some shocking book printers in the UK to reach this conclusion.

Default not just me!

I am afraid its a fact now that any book printing, unless a small run, goes overseas.

By all means come up with some names of good English based book printers of long run (1,000+) books, case bound, at a reasonable price....
if you require a specific specification to quote on i can provide.....

Book printing is highly specialised and not UK based.....but by all means prove me wrong!

Tonya,

With 1000 you are firmly in the realms of short run.

Email details (info@minutemanbristol.com) of a long run project you have completed.

Don't write off the UK yet!

Best wishes

Peter

Print Carrier is just a print reseller, they don't even own their own press.
Because they are active around Europe they cant control the quality.

I used to use them before i set up my own print shop and had loads of problems with them.
