ABSTRACT - New Design Docco On Netflix

Looks really good. It's a very American trailer though, really playing up the pressure of being a designer :p

Looks like I'm going to have to fork out for Netflix again! They're starting to produce some decent stuff now.
Just wish they had some decent movies too.

You could wait until they've all aired and watch them on a 30 day free trial. ;)

Something else you may like Wardy is The Sign Painters.
I think you can still get it on BlinkBox.

Think you get to see your first view for free on there as well.

I Tweeted about that Abstract series trailer last week, it does look really good. Looking forward to it.

So am I.

There's so little on TV about design that isn't to do with architecture or American pimped out cars.

I think it starts on the 10th of Feb.

I watched the "Illustrator" one this afternoon about Christoph Niemann.

His style is not real my thing but I enjoyed it and it was filmed and put together well.
Not just the standard 'show and tell' kind of thing.
Cool thing is that they're ALL available to watch.

Looking forward to seeing the others.

I actually found that one to be quite dull for some reason. His work is really good, but there seemed to be too much focus on his daily life. The others I've seen seem to have more focus on the work. I really liked the Es Devlin one, that was a good mix of work and life.

COOL!

I actually thought it was me.
I dropped off whilst watching it.

Still, looking forward to the rest and glad they're better.

I wonder....watch one tonight?

HELL NO!
It's the return of The Walking Dead! :D

I watched the graphic design one, it was alright, far too much Paula scher in it tho, would have been better with a mix of designers and a mix or cites

I managed to find the time to watch my first episode last night; I watched Paula Scher: Graphic Design (obviously). Fucking brilliant, loved it! I was so happy to see her talking to herself while she was working, as I do the same thing! I am still sane after all!

Yeah, I've been surprised by how much I've enjoyed ones I initially wasn't that interested in actually.

Same. I didn't enjoy the Illustration one as much as I hoped. Maybe because I wasn't really into his style. (Subjective?)
