I have posted in the other forum, i am looking for logo designs etc. This is all part of a complete restructure of what we do.

The businesses I am involved in are all linked (kind of), but we have different levels of customers, and different situations. I am looking for 2-3 different types of business card, one will be very standard and cheap. This is the kind of card you give out when you cant remember your number! It isnt for a perspective client etc, you know the card is going to be used once and the call is coming.

Second is the ones we give out generally in the shops, these will be higher quality. I will probably just go with a standard high quality BC.

The third is the one that has me stumped. I am looking for something high end and a little different....

Part of what we do is aquatic design and maintenance (two companies), some of the aquariums are very high end. Both as part of the customer 'pack', and a little holder on the side of the aquarium, has a few business cards in. These I want to be very high quality and 'different'. This is where I am stuck!

I havnt been involved in this side before, I am the scientist sitting in the lab, the guy that designs the filtration, installs the aquarium etc. I dont normally get involved with the other side. Having looked on google all day for ideas, I am a bit lost. I like the edge foil cards for quality, but in an ideal world i would like something really different........ Anyone got any ideas?

Budget wise, it is what it is. These cards are normally picked up by potential clients, the kind of installs they are on, cost a lot of money. So I dont want to skimp, I want the person to see our work and our cards, and KNOW they are getting the best.

Thank for any help, failing this I will try some agencies again :(.

On various design sites I've seen LOADS of roundups of unusual/good business card examples.
There really are some mad creative ideas.

If you don't want to be gimmicky then I'd go for quality.
A nice heavy stock is a good start and good design is key.

Finishes like foil or UV varnish can look nice.
Letter Press is really in and screams quality.

A while back someone posted about their letterpress cards and they sent me a sample pack.
I was blown away by the quality.
They can be pretty expensive but cost effective on larger quantities.

I'll try and search it out for you.

Thanks alot guys, I want something a little different for the high end, i am just not sure what.......

First time i have had to deal with this side of things.

do you want paid service? because no body help you regarding this because it is time consuming for thinking how to made cards.

Hi,

The confusion you are facing is genuine... I must suggest, that you must get in touch with a printing agency. The team there will guide you as per your specific requirements.

Hope this will help you out...

Thanks
