I think embracing a more simplistic form and taking only the key features of each will help. I wouldn't recognise them anyway, apart from the thimble. Hope that helps a bit. :)

Haha, yeah. I guess I meant I don't have an emphasis on cheap jump scares, rather use pure suspense to build the horror.

I've been working on a title card for a suspense/horror short for a while. Been going back and forth tweaking it so I'd love some external input! :)
