I think word of mouth is very important. Asking at any opportunity that arises about being able to do work for friends, friends of friends, friends of family etc. I get quite a few people contacting me who I don't know directly but have seen/been told about work I done for someone else.

I'm confused on what this is suppose to be. Is the logo meant to be flying out of the planet?

I don't think its too bad at all. It doesn't flood me with inspiration and creativity but I've seen much much worse that large professional companies use!

The website is really horrible, i wouldn't choose to have a whole website in flash either. I would start again on a new design keeping it much cleaner.

I fail to see how you can justify offering a service, the standard of the work/website is way below average.

I'm not too keen on the website and CV. The whole feel to it seems amateurish and already outdated. I like the work though, especially the travel posters.

I think its a bit too busy, there's quite a few elements that are fighting with each other. For impact you have a really vibrant gradient, then the large logo, then the fairly large dark bold type along with a large vector illustrative graphic. I dont think its working together at the moment.
