Thanks Scotty, I think you're right. Focusing on brands like Twitter and Mailchimp where the symbol is the brand is maybe not the best approach to take. Will take your feedback into consideration when we approach the design.

My business are putting together a product to help manage a budget but from a general inspection of competitors all budget logos are generic piggy banks, wallets, money etc. How can we create a product/symbol that will stand out?
