Theres actually very little difference between CS3 and CS4 (from what i can gather) so personally i'd go and buy CS3 as the features are more than suitable and you'll be paying a fraction of the price!
It should be possible- its the right hand buttons that might potentially be problomatic. That being said, with CSS pretty much everything is possible.

Recently come across Build a Website - Create a Blog - Squarespace - looks very unique and cool however im unsure i'd ever pay when i can get wordpress for free- that being said, a serious blog owner might go for it! I suppose they are trying to reinvent the wheel in terms of usability!
I've got a Panasonic Lumix Z18 - £200, can't be beat on price or quality (or zoom for that matter 18x!), although not quite what you're looking for if you want a truely manual focus!
Same as Grey really- everything goes through Photoshop, i then get the designs approved by the client (having shown them a jpg image) and the hand code as well as doing the occasionaly tweaks through Dreamweaver.
When i started out way back, i was using NetObject fusion- those were the days...
I think he is- just because Joomla is more feature rich doesn't mean its better. The development potential, quality streamlined manor in which it has been developed and the fact that its the market leading script in the blogging industry (by miles) highlights why Joomla just can't be classed...
