Is it just me or is no one reading? I stated that i know photoshop, and that i just wondered if anyone had ever tried to or if it was possible to pull an image(texture) into a file using an action. I didn't ask for a tutorial on blending modes and textures or creating vintage images. Jeez...guys.

The end result is just the creation of all the layer with some predefined effects, with the intention of the user (my sister) editing them before flattening the saving the final version. So no, it's not an all in one effect that will duplicate the same look for each photo. They may be similar...

I agree with Greg, the text seems a bit off balance. I do like it being bold, but I think perhaps a serif font my look better? Give it a try at least, see how it looks. And i understand the headings and they are readable, but for some reason I would like to see them in a bolder color, not such...

Definitely a no no on the ads. Save this for a client that is running an information only portal type site and needs to make some money through advertising, not for you. It's just bad manners. Although your code is valid, try to clean up the extra a bit. Use line breaks as little as possible...

It's all vector actually. The grunge is a set of 4 grunge textures i made specifically to use for this. I can upload them if you think you may get some use. Otherwise I will be putting them on the site this week sometime. Thanks for the kind words Typo... if i were a prawn....i'd eat it.
