Thanks Wardy. The eyes where made to look like they're partially closed with cheeks slightly obscuring the bottom of them. If that doesn't come across then it might need a rethink. Appreciate the feedback :)
D or E for me. I think either one works well but on all of them brewing company is a little difficult to read. i think the design looks great though and would work really well as a beer mat or bottle label.

Agree with Wardy, the second version is an improvement. Maybe the squares need to vary in size/shade to better suggest movement. I think first and foremost though, it needs to clearly represent a G.
