    Portfolio relaunch for 2011

    Nice, I like it, clean and minimal, the style I like! My only comment would be it feels quite narrow I guess.

    Try this... #navigation li { color: white; list-style-type: none; padding:0px; margin: 0px; }

    Complete noobie very confused! CSS

    Try adding margins: 0px; to li and ul tags.

    Complete noobie very confused! CSS

    The gif image doesn't seem to load at all on the navigation... and they don't seem to be found on your server either...

    site critique - 1st ever site!

    Impressive for a first site, a lot better than when I started! Can also see some SEO optimization on it too! I agree with the comments about the grid and alignment, and that the contact button looks a little odd, you could make that normal text like the rest and then have a call to action...

    Stuck with a CSS issue :(

    Could try: #sidebar ul { width: 20%; float: left; }

    What type of workstation do you use?

    I use a 24" iMac and can't fault it, wouldn't mind a MacBook Air though but then I still have a pen and notepad which is a tad cheaper to say the least!

    Feedback on new website

    Looks good, only thing I would say is perhaps a slight increase in the font size and line-height.

    Slider / Moving Images

    I used this today: jQuery content slider carousel image slideshow | bxSlider Very good and lots of options depending what you want...

    How did you create your site?

    About 4+ years ago I think, self taught using the vast amount of info on the net, and now do it all for a living.

    How did you create your site?

    Designed in Photoshop, sliced up in Photoshop, hand coded in Coda, and uploaded with Coda.

    work experience

    I would say get a website up, or at least have a PDF portfolio, and look for companies that you'd like to work at, and like Dave says, drop them a line or email, and shoot them across your CV and portfolio.
