But then this can have problems too (dropdowns dont display their box because of...

    Is ASP.net still used?

What a load of rubbish, like Harry said. Look at this site for usage stats for frameworks: ASP.NET Usage Statistics Asp.net 25%, php 30%, those are the major players. Unless you're clear that you haven't misunderstood what he was telling you I would not use this person.

    Web Designers who CAN'T code..

The distinction between a graphic designer, web designer and web developer is a very good one pointed out by openmind. Web designers should definately be expected to code their own sites with css, html, javascript, php or whatever and also be able to design a nice looking site, they also need...

    Full Frame Slider - Horizontal

what about this sort of thing (there are loads of the same thing around the internet): Minimal setup for scrollable and then just making the container very wide like 2000px but using overflow-x:hidden so it hides the horizontal scroll bar?

Completed website - IE6 and possible other issues

Hi Paul It's a very good day indeed when the website you've lovingly crafted looks as it should in any version of Internet Explorer, as you've discovered those are rare days. you'll have to tweak the css by including conditional statements that target specific versions of internet explorer and...

    Fonts on websites

Cufon is another option but text is not selectable, I used this for while and became annoyed with it and removed it from the site. Just use images or standard fonts, if you use the right size of arial it can look very nice, this link might be useful. Also this page has a chart of the percantage...
