    Who here currently uses Behance.net?

I'm tempted to go the Pro Site route one of these days. I go on Behance pretty much every day, so much good stuff on there. One thing that does bother me though is that they need to DESIGN A BLOODY APP. Trying to navigate their site on an iPad is treacherous, it's so unbelievably slow and...

    Book wrapper?

Hey, can someone tell me what the official name is for that small wraparound piece of card/paper for books? See attached photo for what I mean... Would like to get some of my own printed in the near future. Cheers!

    Treehouse

Hmm I've just come across another site called Learnable.com which is really making me think about which provider of courses and tutorials to go for. Pricing round about the same as Tuts Premium and a whole host of different courses, books and tutorials to choose from. Team Treehouse Tuts...

    Photoshop or Illustrator

I cheat. I scan in my hand drawn illustrations, then I tidy up the Levels and Contrast etc in Photoshop. Then I import it into Illustrator where I Live Trace it, then open it again in Photoshop and colour it from there. If the image is visually simple (not many lines, lots of open spaces etc)...

    Treehouse

Wow they've certainly changed since the last time I went on there. It was all scattered and littered with random tutorials with no real organisation, so glad to see it's changed. Loads of new courses and ebooks for just around £13 a month or so...tempting!

    Treehouse

I started using Codeacademy and managed to get through about half of the Javascript course in a day. Problem is, about a week or so later, I totally forgot most of what I learned, and I didn't feel like going through all of it again. I've had a peruse at this Team Treehouse lark and it does look...

    What Do You Do?

I wasn't sure what to put, as I have a job working in an office doing boring office work to pay the bills, but I do some illustration work as well, which is obviously my focus and I would like to get more work from it as I only started last year pretty much I put freelancer anyway because that's...

    Blog Inspiriation

I've always toyed with the idea of making my own blog, highlighting illustration, typography, urban art, street art and graphic art in one place. One day I'll actually bother to start something. If I was running it now though I'd update it frequently, so it's not left untouched for any longer...

How do you market yourself? Freelancer? Company?

At first I thought about just making work under my own name, but decided what the hell I'll have a bit if fun with this and now I operate under a pseudonym which could easily be 'upgraded' so to speak as a collective if I ever feel like bringing more people on board. At the moment I just...

    Recommendation on felt tip pens

Every time I get a sketchbook, I plump for these bad boys (I have an A4 and A5 one at the moment): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rowney-Hardback-Spiral-Sketchbook-Portrait/dp/B0096MSJPG/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1364502926&sr=8-7 Never really been a fan of moleskins. Other than that, if I'm just...
