I like the blue and the bottom border, I feel they look a little like a printers business card though but that's just me liking everything minimal and clean.
This is the visual illustration, the readability isn't massively important. It works very well on our planned business cards, its just the shape of the L that is bugging me.
I have been working in this logo for a while now and I have the concept right but I need to tweak the lettering on the L it seems to ridged and not natural enough, but I just can't seem to get it right.

I would imagine the actual card would look pretty cheap and nasty, business cards are small and compact you need to keep them minimal and get your skills across instantly. Also the font looks very generic.

Just read your message, sorry about that you are right my comment above is completely obsolete it was meant for another thread which I now can't find.
You site looks really good by the way, I love the wood texture and layout flows really well.
Not bad for a first site but I feel half of it is missing. Also the background image looks out of place and doesn't span the background on larger screens.
Why don't you use text for the opening text?
Not sure I'm seeing the connection or feel for London with either but I do like them both. The layout and sizing may be a real pain when using with web and print.
