Not as yet, he bought it because it was better than the one he had and he is a big gamer so I'm guessing it's fairly good spec-wise.

Fair point, I'd say it was fairly high end, although it's quite old, as he is a big gamer so it would have a reasonably good spec wouldnt you say? Will find out soon though...
Not 100% sure what specs the PC has as it was my Dads and I am yet to get it from him, my real query was is it worth upgrading it all, new graphics card, HDD memory, RAM etc?
Hopefully the spec will be awesome then! Just need advice on what hardware to buy to upgrade...
Cheers, but that's not going to happen... for several reasons...
1. I don't like them
2. I can't afford one
3. I already have the makings of a good desktop if I go against a laptop
4. I don't like them... ;)
I use Photoshop all the time and Indesign as well as Dreamweaver and an upload client like Filezilla. These are my predominant programmes.
I design graphics, logos, websites etc as well as t-shirts and so on... but I haven't yet ventured into 3D work etc...
I don't really need to be mobile for the design side of things no, and even if I did, when I go over to my Mother in Laws in Ireland for any amount of time for example, I will still have my Toshiba with CS5 on it to do any bits of work there that I need to...
