Sounds a lot like istock or shutterstock to me... And it's not often you do 'designs' without a client in mind. Sketches yes, but whether they're sale-worthy, doubt it.

This is really interesting, personally there are certain massive corporations that I absolutely would not ever do any graphic design work for, no matter what the price. Monsanto and Lockheed Martin for example. I guess for me though, at the moment, I'm in a safe job as a full time inhouse...
