Hey NeonThunder, It depends exactly what you're trying to do but www.mandrill.com (by Mailchimp) is a great transactional email tool which makes it very easy to send emails via their API or SMTP servers from your site and it's free for up to 12000 sends per month which is always nice :)...

I used to print a lot of A3 calendars with spiral binding and always used ask-print.co.uk for shorter digital runs who were very good and very cheap (although if you can justify going a bit above 1000 then you may be able to justify lino printing which will be cheaper per unit).
