Hi all
Just wondering what your take is on the following:
Created an identity for a big company and they now want the original Indesign files I used to create the guidelines (they have all the printed copies in the their possession). They want to make some additions and I have the impression...
Something I have adopted is to have my print portfolio without the sleeves, just loose items people can sift through and get a tactile feel for different papers/finishes chosen and to see more than just particular spreads. I have an online site as well of course as that is a necessity.
I moved out of London to a market town in the South Cotswolds around seven months ago on my own. I make it a point of either popping to the pub for lunch with a copy of something (normally DW) and chat with the bar staff (like today) or getting rid of the cobwebs with a hearty bike ride or walk...

What has prompted this is the increase on clients asking for hourly rates as opposed to jobs rates.
Primarily I have increased my hourly rate to £35 (from £30) and...
Oh my lordy BE has rebranded and their website reflects their new direction.
Horrific doesn't describe it. They had an established brand and shot themselves in the foot with this one.
Hello all
Am looking to leave the big smokey smoke of London and off to the west country for some fresh air and improved quality of life.
I will continue as a freelance designer for web and print with my clients from there but was wondering if anyone knew of any freelance agencies in Bristol...
