hey guys , wondering whether anyone could recommend some vintage / traditional type fonts at all?? what have people used in the past or currently working with. Looking to work into something for a nice manufacturing logo with a vintage vibe.

hi paul. just a few quick sketch ideas I did, any guidance / feedback would be great. as I said there are real quick starter sketches.

really like that idea of a hand written information piece to each product they make. nice little touch. I may mention this to them , could have like you said a maker mark of the company on there somewhere to give it a subtle touch.

looking into possibly getting a decent drawing tablet. does anyone on here use one , if so what would people recommend and would it benefit me getting one as a logo and identity designer? i currently work from free form quick sketching into a sketchbook then sometimes scan direct into Ai / Ps...

Really great advice here, im currently workig with a client who wants a rebrand of there logo and are asking for an 'icon' next to some text to represent what they do as a buisness. im trying to stray away from that and doing it stripped back simplicity at best!

hey guys, iv been racking my brain all day to try and convert this speaker logo into an A its just not sitting right to get the angle the client needs. any suggestions at all?? the image is to show the angle needed for the A to sit .

thanks for the advise, im trying to get some incorporation of a letter 'T' into a microphone sort of idea. i Like the how you mentioned as headphones but client is swaying more towards the microphone imagery.
