Yipes bringing this up, wow had forgotten the whole ordeal. Yep work was carried out. All your colours were changed we even provided you with the alternate design you requested. Then it came to making the logo adapt to a completely different name, sigh. I can if you want post the screenshots...

I like the middle right. Get the concept nailed then move to colour. A real logo needs to work in mono first and foremost.

it looks dated. boring and generic. type needs some treatment, tightening i think. I think it needs some relevance, in some way. You're not going to really get the suggestions you're after. :(

You can have whatever logo you like. If its original and you made it then go ahead.

chrome imho is the overall best

you will most probably get bored of using the same pantone, coupled with the same logo. It can be a great place to gain some experience and learn technique and how to set things up etc. Have worked for 3 big brands in house so am speaking from experience

Let your client know that you have had some problems with the edits or that progression has been much slower than anticipated. They will thank you in the long run for being straight with them. Now it looks like its time for you to knuckle down and re-create the assets for the animation, Your guy...

I would worry about bringing in a marketing manager with a design background. I think it might end up a blurred role where you would want to be designing when I wanted you to be pulling in nice boring market research and data. Thats just me though, others would possibly see your qualifications...
