Thanks for all the ideas! I am not in the market for the top of the range cleverest laptop out as I am never going to be a pro like all of you. I do a little bit of design work for myself and as a handy addition to my farm. Please could someone name me a specific good value computer that is...

I am using a really old PC at the moment that crashes regularly. :( I think it is time for me to replace it, but for convenience I would like to get a laptop. I am purely working on websites for myself and friends. I have been looking at DELL because they have some offers on but I want to...

    Food Packaging

Thanks both of you for the ideas. Its not for me but a friend who may be using some ingredience from us. One product will be a really dry goat jerki and I am thinking thick brown paper with a label. The other some biscuits - I like the idea of glass jars, it never occurred to me but thats a...

    Food Packaging

Thanks Becky, some great designs, but at the moment I am looking for suppliers of suitable packaging. One possible idea is zipper pouches, but the dog food has eco values so I am looking for packaging to reflect this.

I am wanting to find the ideal packaging for a small scale pet snack business using all natural ingredience. Has anyone got any suggestions?

This is the bit I hate!

Thanks Russell, its good to have some comments on the design. I have however spoken to my friend about everyone’s impression of the name and she has come up with a much better name with no other connotations. So scrub this for now!

I'm not sure I want to ask her to change the name - she is really chuffed with it. I hope that if it is on the shelf with other dog treats with clear enough branding then hopefully it wont be an issue.

This is the bit I hate!

I am helping out a friend come up with some ideas for her new business. She is producing snacks for dog using all natural ingrediance locally sourced. I am trying to convey the naturalness in the image but not sure if it is not just getting lost into the background. I would appreciate some...

    OK done it!

    Position of footer

I found one of my errors in the footer definition. I have declared margins twice, once to centre the footer (width 800px) the other to move the margin up by -40px to position it correctly vertically. I have replaced both oth these with: margin: -40px auto; but this no longer centralises the...

    Position of footer

Thanks for the offer to look through the code, I am really still playing around with the templates for my pages and so it wont be available online for a while. I am going to use a temporary fix for now, and revisit it once it is more together. If it helps my footer CSS is this: #footer {...

    Position of footer

Sorry it is not online. The contents of the footer is fine it appears as it should inside the footer. The problem is the position of the footer is obscurring the bottom of the content within my wrapper. The CSS link above instructs you to remove all margins and padding to ensure the footer...
