Found this, anyone know where it is from?

I know I've posted about image sliders before, but I've falled in love with this one which is slightly different Gift Ideas, Unique Gifts and Personalised Gifts | notonthehighstreet.com - it's right there, on the home page (grey boxed image slider, with arrows for prev/next and dot-counter)...

directly visiting a websites /process.php url

I did some searching and indirectly stumbled across this - It seems to work fine, and responds as I need. I don't see any potential issues or problems with it, unless I'm unaware of something? Thanks

    form "Placeholder=" attribute

As most know, when using the placeholder="Search" attribute in a form it will not work in IE I've heard there are various ways around this with jQuery (I've Googled and tried some of the ways but they don't seem to be 'as good' as other live examples I've seen) For example, at the top of...

directly visiting a websites /process.php url

Cheers, I've been doing that with my image folders lately (not that it makes the /images/ directory strictly secure but it's good practice and stops the directory list being displayed etc.)

directly visiting a websites /process.php url

Thanks, are you aware if there are any other precautions that can be taken? Hopefully the robots.txt "disallow:" is enough to hold it off though!

directly visiting a websites /process.php url

I often get emails from my php form which are empty (I have validation in place on the fields). I've realised that the reason this is happening is because some sort of crawl/bot is visiting the url directly (www.----.com/process.php) which is the process script for fetching the data entered...

have you ever had this problem? (browser)

Somebody I know has a Vista laptop, they have Firefox/Chrome/IE for browsers - They asked me to come over because "the internet is not working on this laptop" (but is on their other laptop) When I looked into it, the connection (wifi) was solid and showed no problems as far as signal...

(dumb question coming up) - I use cPanel, any indication as to what the generic/root ftp is called? Also, If I was to put a PHP file on my server which contained database access details - is there any precaution I should take/can somebody access it and retrieve the user/pass friom the script...

    BNI Business network

Ahhh the BNI, I never joined but I have been to two seperate chapters as a guest. And both chapters were worlds apart from eachother - the first that I visited was very relaxed (minimal pressure to join) with a "here is an empty form, you're aware of what we offer and you know where we are if...

    is this normal for html5 + ie9?

I found the solution to this problem (not that anyone cares, but it might be useful to keep in mind incase somebody has this same problem in the future) - The problem was that there was a .js file that contained outdated script - this .js file helps the chosen font to work, the remedy was that...
