    New Business Card Designs Critique

Damn, that watermark stopped me from taking them for my clients... They are ok, some of the text may be too small, nothing inspiring but I'm sure they'll do the job.

Not sure on the logistical/coding side of this but make sure you count iPads etc. as 'mobile'!

    New website, feedback needed!

It's a nice design and you have some really nice shots, but as Levi said, Flash sites can have issues. The site loaded quickly for me, but it won't for everybody. Also, if you plan on being found on Google, although I'm guessing it's not too important, you'll still struggle to get anywhere.

Please have a look at my Irish Gift website designs

Sorry to hear that you got stitched up then! I see what you're saying, although understanding a problem and acting on it are two different things. I wouldn't pick any... The one that has the most potential aesthetically is the last one 14. However this would need working into still, making...

Going to have to agree with Levi, especially as you've requested quotes from people here and have obviously ignored these. Lets say on average everyone spent 4 hours on their design, so that's 52 hours you've used here, of which 4 you'll (assuming you will) remunerate, wasting on average £960...

    Qualitfications for designers?

Just make sure you have a designed CV supplied as a PDF and you'll have a head start over some of the applications I've seen. I seriously wouldn't bother with a formal qualification if you're only doing it to include on your CV - simply not worth it. Plain and simple it comes down to your work...

    Qualitfications for designers?

Spend the time getting a **** hot portfolio instead! Having a qualification on your CV might come into play if someone is trying to filter down 100 applicants - but ultimately it comes down to your work.
