You need to export as an InDesign Interchange (INX) file. Usually works for me when I go between CS4, CS3 and CS1

They do look awesome, especially berry's example, I can imagine they're brilliant for illustrators. But as above, I love the idea of them but change up/add new work far too often. Great idea for some personal projects though hmm!

Would not is a bit tame. Do not use a 72dpi image especially if you're enlarging it. What is the image of, if it's a logo you'll want a vector image (ai eps cdr etc) for crispness. If it's a photo request the original

I see your point, but the bokeh just seems a bit tutorial like, if you don't mind me saying. Why not have an image that is more relevant to what the page is about, if you want something. Or a nice piece of typography — nothing wrong with consistency, but break it up a little. Just seems a bit...
